Established in 1980 and located in the northern Bogotá Savannah of Colombia, APOSENTOS Flowers is proud to be one of the leading growers and exporters of fresh-cut Dianthus Caryophyllus (Carnations).
Our Carnations and Spray Carnations are grown across four Rainforest Alliance and GLOBALG.A.P. certified farms: Flores de Britania, Flores el Rebaño, Flores de Pueblo Viejo, and Flores de Pueblo Viejo Antares. Together, these farms cover a total of 68 hectares and produce over 100 million flowers annually.
In addition, the company operates a centralized post-harvest system that ensures the traceability of flowers. Each stem is carefully classified according to its color, grade and cutting stage. We strictly follow market requirements and offer customized packaging to provide the best customer experience possible.
Moreover, Colombia adheres to the recommendations set by the FATF (Financial Action Task Force), which leads global efforts to combat money laundering, terrorist financing, and the proliferation of weapons. Consequently, C.I. FLORES DE APOSENTOS S.A.S. implements the Colombian system known as SAGRILAFT with all of our clients. This system effectively prevents the risk of money laundering, terrorism financing, and the financing of weapons of mass destruction. Additionally, we have adopted the PTEE program (transparency and business ethics program), which is designed to prevent corruption and transnational bribery.
